Criminal Minds - Brisket

If your favorite show is Criminal Minds, you are probably a serious person, but you do enjoy a bit of drama and adventure every once in a while. Brisket is serious food, with the sauce in the brisket acting as the ‘bit of drama’ in your life!

The Office - Matzah Ball Soup

The Office is matzah ball soup because EVERYONE likes it. Although The Office might be only a few people’s favorite show, everyone that watches it enjoys it. Matzah ball soup isn’t everyone’s favorite food, but everyone enjoys eating it. Also, The Office, like matzah ball soup, is good for when you are sick and stuck at home. The Office is light watching, like how matzah ball soup is a light dish.

New Girl - Sufganiyot

If your favorite show is New Girl, you are probably a funny person and have a hard time not laughing in serious situations. Sufganiyot, also known as jelly donuts eaten during Hanukkah, is a pretty silly food, in my opinion! Sufganiyot is the furthest from a serious food, which is also how avid New Girl watchers would be described.

Tiger King - Matzah

Matzah is seasonal, as people only really eat it when they need to, which is during Passover. Most of us only watched Tiger King when we were at home and extremely bored from the early stages of COVID-19. Both matzah and Tiger King are never anyone’s first choice, but they are both there when we need them!

Vampire Diaries - Babka

If you start Vampire Diaries, you are going to want to finish it right away. This is the same as babka because no one ever wants to only eat one bite! If you watch Vampire Diaries, you have a lot of different personality traits, similar to babka, which usually has a swirl of flavor in the dessert!

Fuller House - Rainbow Cookies

If your favorite show is Fuller House, your inner child is very apparent. Fuller House, similar to Rainbow Cookies that can be found at any Kosher deli, is pretty childish (in a good way!), and it tastes amazing!

Gossip Girl - Shakshuka

With shakshuka, every bite is different and sometimes spicy, which is exactly how I would explain Gossip Girl. Every episode is different, and there is always something interesting going on in the show! If you watch Gossip Girl, you enjoy a bit of drama in your life!

Grey’s Anatomy - Bagel with Lox and Cream Cheese

If your favorite show is Grey’s Anatomy, you are a hard-worker, but also like to have fun sometimes. A bagel with lox and cream cheese includes some basic aspects (bagel and cream cheese), but also some fun and sometimes unique aspects (lox and sometimes capers)!

Glee - Latkes

Glee, in my opinion, is a ‘guilty pleasure show,’ similar to latkes, a ‘guilty pleasure food’ since latkes aren’t always the healthiest. If your favorite show is Glee, you are most likely the life of the party and the most outgoing. This is similar to latkes, as latkes are always the star of the show on Hanukkah.

The Circle - Israeli Salad

If your favorite show is The Circle, you love social media and you are a vibrant and positive person. Israeli Salad, a mix of cucumbers, tomatoes, and sometimes onion, avocado, chickpeas, and bell peppers, is usually a very vibrant and colorful mix of foods!
